Liz, baptised as Elizabeth Ann, is the youngest of three, raised in a Catholic family. Her life was profoundly shaped by the Church's Social Teaching and early encounters with the Vincentian Family. After training as a Nursery Nurse, Liz's journey took a turn towards religious life at 19. Her 40 years of service have spanned from nurturing young children to international humanitarian work with malnourished children in Africa. Liz's story is one of faith, service, and an ever-evolving journey of learning and growth.

In 1982, a year marked by memorable music, global events, and personal milestones, Mary felt an unexplained restlessness despite a fulfilling life as an Occupational Therapist in Dundee. A profound experience during Pope John Paul II's 1992 visit and a chance encounter with a Daughter of Charity sparked a deep curiosity. This led to a life-changing decision to join the Daughters of Charity, embracing a life of service underpinned by prayer. Today, she reflects on a rewarding 30-year journey, fulfilled and at peace with her choice.

n her 38-year journey as a Daughter of Charity, Sr Moira has served from Scotland to England and Romania. Initially drawn to the Sisters' ordinariness, her deep faith, nurtured by her family, led her to embrace a life of service.
